While the plaster surface is still damp, a light washing brings the texture of the gravel and crushed stone to the surf ace. The edges are finely detailed by the use of a clean brush. It is reminiscent of the classical style of architecture exhibited in the government banks and offices of the Meiji period. Also it can be used in a manner that resembles artificial stone.
